Long Walks in the Park

This feels like an online dating site application or resume, but I thought it would be good to fill in some blanks for you so here goes nothing:

I am a SAHM of 3 little shannanigans: Lady J, Bud, and K-Mad (aka This Kid), who keep me on my toes and entertained. My husband, Mr. TheKing, could not be more opposite from me, but it works.

Before being a full time mom, I was a teacher.  I have taught just about every age ranging from preschool through middle school.  I was also a lifeguard, lifeguard instructor, and swim instructor.

I am a runner and feel most at peace when I am outdoors…but not with bugs…especially spiders. Seriously, heart-racing, cannot breath, freak out as though I’m possessed, fear of spiders….but that’s for another post…

I love winter when its snowy but not too cold because a girl’s gotta ski and sled.  Spring is best just after it rains and the sun peaks out to signal the song birds.  Summers are best enjoyed on the beach, at camp, and dancing in the rain during a sudden thunderstorm.  And Autumn is an all year kind of love for me: the colors, the leaves, the fresh crisp air…Fall’s got it all.

Laughing is my absolute favorite thing to do and I constantly try to find the funny…Fortunately, in my life, it’s not too difficult.
